01 / Foundation Assessment
Most Salesforce orgs accumulate years of configuration decisions made under pressure by different people with different goals. The Foundation Assessment cuts through that and tells you what's there, what's broken, and what to fix first.
What It Is
The Foundation Assessment is a structured review of your entire Salesforce environment. Not a surface-level scan, but a hands-on audit of how your org is configured and what it will take to run reliably.
It's the right starting point before committing to larger optimization work, and it's useful for teams inheriting an org from a previous admin or partner who didn't leave documentation behind.
The output focuses on the top three issues that need immediate attention. Not a 40-item laundry list, but the three things that, fixed, move your org from fragile to functional.
The goal is to have a clear picture of your CRM and a plan to fix it.
Scope
The assessment covers the core layers of your org. The areas that tend to compound into larger problems when left unaddressed.
Object relationships, field usage, record types, page layouts, and custom metadata. Identifies redundancy, structural problems, and configuration that's working against your process rather than supporting it.
Flows, workflow rules, process builders, validation rules, and triggers. What's active, what's redundant, and what's creating unintended side effects. Automation debt is the most common source of org instability.
Profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and org-wide defaults. Identifies access that's too broad, overly restrictive, or just inconsistent. Including the "give them System Administrator" problem that's more common than it should be.
A working session to walk through the findings, answer questions, and align on priorities. The result is a clear roadmap that your team can take action on.
Who This Is For
A previous admin or partner built something and moved on. You need to understand what's there before you can safely change anything.
What worked for 10 users is starting to break down at 50. Reports aren't reliable, automations conflict, and nobody's sure why things work the way they do.
Before committing budget to optimization or a new implementation, you want an honest assessment of what you're starting with.
If your team doesn't trust what Salesforce is showing them, that's a structural problem. The assessment identifies where data quality breaks down and why.
What You Get
The assessment ends with a written findings document and a working session that gives you a clear path forward.
A full written assessment of what was reviewed, what was found, and what it means. Written to be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Issues ranked by impact and effort, broken into what to address now, what to plan for, and what to monitor. No undifferentiated list of 40 items.
A live session to walk through findings, answer questions, and agree on priorities. If further work with CloudForm makes sense, a proposal follows. If it doesn't, you leave with a roadmap you can hand to anyone.
Request a proposal for your Foundation Assessment or book a 30-minute discovery call. Both options start the same way: a conversation about your situation, not a pitch.
